Please follow the link below for the PDF including the links discussed at the event

Reading: Your child’s reading pouch will be needed in school every day, complete with their reading tree and current home book. We ask that you read for five minutes every evening so that each reading book is read three times. Books will be changed every Monday and Thursday.

Pleas return your library books by Friday so that your account has space for the new books selected on Friday afternoon.

It is also very important to share a range of children’s stories to expand your child’s vocabulary as well as promoting a life-long love of reading. We’d like to encourage you to record the stories you share in your Reading Trees. We love hearing their recommendations too!

Maths: Please have a go at 5 Doodle Maths questions each day.

This week in Sycamore

The children have enjoyed learning about the differences between fire safety in 1666 and today. They have explored through Music, Art and role play this week.

Bug Hotel Design and Technology Project

Sycamore and Cherry Classes have been commissioned by Mr Force to create a Bug Hotel for the Science Garden. The children are enjoying the research phase of their project and have been thinking about their initial design ideas. We have seen such a lot of enthusiasm for our challenge and we look forward to creating the finished houses.
