This term, we will be learning about:

• Writing: Discursive texts, warning stories and poetry
• Maths: Fractions, decimals, position and direction, shape and volume
• Geography: How is our world changing?
• History: Roman Empire (Power, Rulers and Empire)
• Science: Properties and changes of materials; animals including humans
• RE: What does it mean to be a Humanist in Britain today?  Creation & Science – Conflict or Complimentary?
• Art: Working in 3D: Shadow puppets
• DT: Textiles: Cushions
• PSHE: Being my best; Growing and changing
• PE: Athletics and lifesaving swimming
• Music: Farewell tour
• Computing: Online safety and programming
• French: At the tea room

PE will be on Wednesdays and swimming on Thursdays this term. 

Home Learning

• Reading – 30 minutes daily
• Times Table Rockstars – 10 minutes at least three times a week
• Spelling – 15 minutes at least three times a week.
