Topics we shall be covering this term:

Literacy
Our first writing unit will be to write an information text inspired by the text “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. We shall then be moving on to writing a chronological report based on “Where My Wellies Take Me”.

Maths
We shall be focusing on Place Value and the Four Operations

RE
Key Question: What does it mean if God is holy and loving?

Science
Properties of Materials

Art
Colour-theory and using paints

PE
We will be covering Gymnastics and Netball

Geography
The Regions of the UK

Home Learning
Reading – 30 minutes daily

Maths – Pupils will be receiving a task on Doodle Maths each Friday to be completed the following Friday

Spelling – 10 spellings a week to the Google Classroom. Children will have the opportunity to practice these in class but will also need to practice these at home.
