The Venture Hall – Hall Hire in Budleigh Salterton

The Venture Hall is a welcoming, flexible community space owned and operated by St Peter’s CE Primary School, located adjacent to the school site but with its own access drive and separate entrance.

Situated on Moor Lane, Budleigh Salterton (EX9 6QE), the hall is ideal for both regular bookings and one-off events, serving a wide range of community, youth and commercial users.

The Venture Hall is suitable for:

Children’s and youth groups
Fitness, wellbeing and exercise classes
Community meetings and clubs
Faith and reflection groups
Parties and social events
Commercial or continuous classes and activities

Whether you’re looking for a regular weekly slot or a single hire, we aim to offer a straightforward, affordable and well-maintained space.

Facilities

Medium-sized hall (approx 15 x 10 metres) suitable for a range of activities
Fully equipped kitchen, including cooker, refrigerator, kettle and tea/coffee facilities
Tables and chairs available for seated events (approximately 16 tables and 160 chairs)
Lavatories, including an accessible toilet
Step-free access throughout
On-site parking for up to 5 cars, with additional street parking available nearby

Hire Rates

All hire rates include use of the hall, kitchen and lavatory facilities.

Tier 1 – Youth Groups: £7.50 per hour
Tier 2 – Community and Continuous Users / Commercial Hirers: £15 per hour
Weekend private hire is £20 an hour

Deposit: £25 (refundable, subject to conditions below)

Cleaning, Care and Deposit

No additional charge is made for cleaning, provided all areas are left clean, tidy and in good repair, including:

Hall and furniture
Kitchen facilities (including cooker and refrigerator if used)
Lavatories

Any costs arising from breakages, poor cleaning or failure to return furniture to its original layout will be deducted from the deposit or charged to the hirer.

Insurance Requirements

For regular bookings or commercial hire, please provide a copy of your Public Liability Insurance Certificate as part of the booking process.
