Privacy Notices
 
Under data protection law, individuals have a right to be informed about how we use any personal data that we hold about them. We comply with this right by providing ‘privacy notices’ to individuals where we are processing their personal data.
 
This privacy notice explains how we are going to share and use personal data about our pupils in two new ways.
 
Wonde
Whave agreed to share pupil data with a company called Wonde in order to connect our school information management system (SIMS) to various platforms.  Each of these platforms will collect different types of data for different reasons.
 
A data processing agreement is in place with Wonde. 
 
Department of Education (DfE)
We have agreed to share pupil level attendance data with the Department of Education (DfE) in order to assist the DfE with their goal of improving school attendance.  The DfE will use the data to identify national, regional and local trends and patterns on school attendance.  This agreement relates to the following information: Student ID, Forename, Surname, Gender, Date of Birth, Free School Meal Status, LEA Care Status, SEN status, Ever in Care Status, In Care Status, Ethnicity, National Curriculum Year, Attendance data.
 
Provision Map (Edu Key)
We have agreed to share pupil and employee data with Provision Map (Edu Key) in order to support the design of SEN provision, e.g.  writing Individual Education Plans and calculating the staffing cost of provision, as well as evaluating of the impact.  The agreement relates to the following information for pupils: Student UPN; Forename, Surname, Legal Forename, Legal Surname, Gender, LEA Care Status, Ever in Care Status, In Care Status, SEN status; SEN category code; SEN type code; SEN start date; SEN end date; Pupil Premium status; Service Pupil Premium status; Gifted status; Ethnicity; England as an Additional Language status; First Language Read; Medical Conditions; Assessment Data; Photo.  This agreement relates to the following information for employees: Title, Forename, Surname, Legal Forename, Legal Surname, Initials, Email, Employment Start Date; Employment End Date; Role; Role Start Date; Role End Date; Salary FTE; Hours.
 
Access IT (Library System)
We have agreed to share pupils and employee data with Access IT in order to manage the stock and loan of books as well as track library use, including trends based upon pupil characteristics.  The agreement relates to the following information for pupils: Student UPN; Forename, Surname, Legal Forename, Legal Surname, Gender, Address; Email; Telephone; SEN status; SEN category code; SEN category description; SEN start date; SEN end date; Pupil Premium status; Service Pupil Premium status; English as a Additional Language; Photo.  This agreement relates to the following information for employees: Title, Forename, Middle Name, Surname, Legal Forename, Legal Surname, Initials, Gender, Date of Birth; Telephone number; Email; Staff Code; Payroll Number: Employment Start Date; Employment End Date; Photo.
 
National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER)
Whave agreed to share pupil data with the National Foundation for Education Research in order to collate pupil and assessment data for the purpose of analysing rest results and viewing reports.  NFER do no view or use the data unless a specific purpose has been identified and schools have agreed to the sharing of data.  This agreement relates to the following information: Student ID, Forename, Surname, Gender, Date of Birth, School Registration Group (Code / Name / Year), School Email, Leaving Date, Free School Meal status, Pupil Premium status, English as an additional language status, SEN status, Gifted status and NFER reading assessment information.
 
Education Shed (Ed Shed)
Whave agreed to share pupil and employee data with Ed Shed in order to access reading comprehension and writing teaching resources.  This agreement relates to the following information for pupils: Student ID, Forename, Surname, Email.  This agreement relates to the following information for employees: Title, Forename, Surname, Legal Forename, Legal Surname, Initials, Email.
 
Elastik
We have agreed to share pupil and employee data with Elastik in order to access their platform that empowers teachers to pinpoint and address unidentified gaps in their students’ learning in Maths, English and Science.  This agreement relates to the following information for pupils: Student ID, Forename, Surname, Middle Name, Initials, Gender, Email.  This agreement relates to the following information for employees: Title, Forename, Surname, Legal Forename, Legal Surname, Initials, Email, Employment Start Date and Employment End Date.
 
Teachers2Parents
We have agreed to share pupil and employee data with Teachers2Parents in order to send text messages to parents.
 
Times Table Rockstars
We have agreed to share pupil and employee data with Times Table Rockstars in order to access their platform so that pupils can learn and practise their Numeracy (Times Tables).
