Opportunity to hear a world renowned expert!

*Want to find out the best way to help your child grow up healthily?*

*This is a chance to hear from a leader in Children’s health – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*

On Monday 30th October at 4pm, we have Dr Bert Bond coming to give a free talk to our parents and staff.

I have heard this talk already – it is fascinating, inspiring and life-changing, even if you think you have a good understanding of this already. Be prepared to be amazed!

Dr Bert Bond is a lecturer from the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC), which is part of the University of Exeter. One of the core themes of this research department is how the promotion of exercise in early life can protect against the development of future chronic diseases (such as diabetes and heart disease). Bert will be presenting important information regarding the evidence between exercise and health, including how the exercise your child performs today can lower their risk of disease in later life. Bert will also discuss the dangers of sugar consumption, particularly in sugar-sweetened drinks, and will be available to take any questions that you might have.

I will look after any school-age child whilst you enjoy this presentation. It will last approx 1 hour. I will get some snacks ready too! Please sign up here, or let the office know:  https://goo.gl/forms/5Y2oXRN2hurzvZ822
