As part of our current RE learning in relation to Inspirational People, pupils from Cedar and Beech met Aida, Dalia and Yassine from the University of Exeter Islamic Society.
Pupils heard about how the Prophet Muhammad is an inspiration to Muslims around the World. Aida, Dalia and Yassine explained what it means to be a Muslim, how the Prophet Muhammad has inspired/influenced their life and how their faith influences the choices that they make. Pupils then had the opportunity to ask questions – they had lots!
Aida, Dalia and Yassine were very impressed by the curiosity and questioning skills shown by pupils from both classes. Furthermore, they praised our pupils for their exemplary behaviour and their respectful manner.
Hopefully, they will be able to come back to St Peter’s Church of England Primary School in the near future
