Trip to the River Otter
This week lower key stage 2 had a visitor from Clinton Devon Estates called Kate. She spoke to us and compared the River Otter to the River Nile – she even bought in her own river! Then we went to visit the River Otter with her. There we thought about the proposed plans for the Otter. We thought about the impact the project would have on wildlife, local people, roads and the river. It is certainly a tough subject with lots of arguments on both sides! We got very muddy exploring the river and even spotted some birds on the marsh.
