Foundation Stage are painting like Kandinsky!
The foundation children have been enjoying the self-serve painting area and have been inspired by the work of Kandinsky.
They have been learning the skill of washing the brush between colours, shading, contrast, shape and sometimes printing.
Last term our artist studio featured the skill of printing and we made our own wrapping paper. Some children have applied it here and found different sized pots, plates, cotton wheels etc to get the differing sizes!
We think they look great!
Enjoying the self serve paint and enjoying collecting our resources independently! Don’t forget to wash your things up afterwards!
