Brain Tumour Support Awareness Month

In order to raise awareness of this problem we, at the Exeter branch, have a couple of events planned in order to promote information about the tumour and all the problems that it can cause, not just for the person diagnosed but also their friends and family.
On 24th March we are joining the Topsham Community Day and holding a Cup Cake on the Quay during the afternoon to be followed by a Quiz at The Lighter Inn at Topsham, starting at 8pm.
There are always things needed and people to help us. So………..
Is it possible for you to bake some cup cakes (they are easier to handle than sponge cakes!) or cookies, flapjacks etc etc and help us turn cup cakes into cash?  We will be giving information about brain tumours to those who ask.  Please let me know if you are able to donate some tasty morsels.  Thanks
In the evening The Lighter Inn have offered us the chance to hold a fund raising Quiz.  It starts at 8pm and there is to be a raffle.
Due to the very recent passing of the Proprietor of Pebblebed Wines and the diagnoses of the MP Tessa Jowell awareness in Topsham and the public is high.  The manager of the Lighter is very supportive and assures me that she has ‘rent a crowd’ booked ha ha!
Would it be possible for you to come along and join in the fun, bring a team with you or just come along to The Lighter for a meal and a drink and let me persuade you to buy some raffle tickets?
AND
On 21st April at Budleigh Salterton Public Hall, starting at 7pm a show is being put on in aid of Brain Tumour Support.  It is called Silly Billy and is a parody of Shakespeare.  Ideal for those who are not lovers of the Bard and also a light hearted way to introduce yourself and young members of the family and friends to Shakespeare.
Did you know that Shakespeare knew all about Brexit?  No, neither did he!!!
I am always looking for raffle prizes, help front of house, your culinary skills and brain power as well as your company at these events, so please check diaries and let me know if you would like to help in some way or get hold of tickets.
Once again, I need your help in order to help all those 16000 people a year who are diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Thanks for reading this and hope to see and hear from you soon.
