We found a box in Nursery…

The children decided that a pet had been delivered…a dangerous pet!

The children began taping the box up and decided they needed to write ‘danger’ and ‘help’ on the box to warn others. One child got the sign from the vets and put it on the top as a danger sign.

The children tested how heavy it was…

They listened carefully to our new ‘pet’!

Further inspection revealed it may have been a baby dragon…the children decided they needed gloves and hats when opening the box…just in case!

The box is empty!!! One child finds a lead and a stick nearby… They decide it is either a dog or a hedgehog!

A child finds a toy hedgehog and places it in the box. They begin writing new signs on the box… ‘Hedgehog sleeping’!

Hedgehog sleeping! Shhhhhh!
