Cross Country - Devon Winter School Games Qualification
On Friday 4th November, six pupils from Year 3 and Year 4 represented St Peter’s CoE Primary School in the East Devon Cross Country Finals at Bicton. The course was a very fast 1200 metre course over varied terrain.
The standard of the competition was very high with representatives from the twelve best schools from East Devon. Very few points separated the second placed and fifth placed schools.
Our pupils excelled and secured second place overall (including a second place finish for Shay and a sixth place finish for George). This means that our Year 3/4 have qualified for the Level 3 Devon Winter School Games in Torbay/Paignton in Spring 2017!
