Cross country

On Monday 12th October, over 20 Key Stage 2 pupils represented St Peter’s CoE Primary School at the Exmouth Primary School Cross Country Competition.
Maybel Gillingham excelled in the Year 3/4 girls’ team securing second place overall.  Jojo Garman made her Cross Country debut and showed real courage and determination in her performance.
The Year 3/4 boys were represented in good numbers with Nate James leading the way, William Cotton performing very well and Henry Southern demonstrating an outstanding ‘never give up’ attitude.
Our Year 5/6 girls were consistently very good with Amy May securing our highest finish and Grace Gilliingham, Yasmin Levi and Hattie Real all putting in excellent performances.
Jack Garner yet again performed very well in the long distance race, narrowly missing out on a podium place for the Year 5/6 boys.  Equally impressive was the performance of Alex James who ran an excellent race and has developed into a very determined Cross Country runner.

Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and family member who provided transport to/from the event and support all of our pupils.
